Transport to the venue
The venue is located 45 minutes from Madrid at Monica's family home. We want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves on the day. So if you want to avoid driving or renting a car we have a few options for you.
Bus transportation from Madrid and Majadahonda
We want everyone to enjoy themselves and drink if they want to. So we'll be providing a private bus, if enough people need it, from Madrid to the venue and back on the day of the wedding. Please let us know when you RSVP if you think you'll be needing this service.

Pondremos un servicio de autobuses desde Majadahonda a la boda y otro a la vuelta, si hay suficientes personas que lo necesiten.

Getting around Madrid city
Madrid has a great public transport system with super affordable rates. You can get around by taking the train, Metro, buses and taxis.
Metro, Renfe trains and buses
Get around Madrid with your transport card or buying individual journeys in the Metro. To travel outside of Madrid city centre to other zones, you'll need the transport card or you'll need to buy individual tickets.

Check out esmadrid.com for more information on how to get around Madrid.
Local taxi
Local taxi's are easy to flag down, safe and they're very affordable too. So you don't always need a pre-booked service if you're getting around town.
Uber, Cabify, FreeNow
Apps like Uber work just fine in Madrid too. Cabify is the spanish version of Uber and works great. FreeNow also calls and prebooks local taxi's, makes it easier if you wan't to pay via the app and take local taxi's, especially with a language barrier.

You can also use platforms like Uber and Bird to get around on scooters in Madrid.
